11. ESCRIDISCOS

Ισχύει ότι και για το MARILIANS (5). Ένα από τα 3 καλύτερα δισκάδικα της πόλης. Πολύ ενημερωμένο και σύγχρονο, παρ’ότι λειτουργεί από το 1977. Θα βρείτε πολύ υλικό σε indie, garage, post punk, punk, pop, θα βρείτε μπλούζες και άλλα, σχετικά με τη μουσική, είδη, θα ακούσετε μουσικάρες και γενικώς θα περάσετε υπέροχα. Ευγενικός και ενημερωμένος ο άνθρωπος που το δουλεύει και μάλιστα αναγνώρισε και την μπλούζα της ομάδας που φόραγα και πιάσαμε κουβέντα για ποδόσφαιρο/μουσική.
Θα πάτε, θα ξαναπάτε και δε θα ξέρετε τι να πρωτοπάρετε…
The same goes as for MARILIANS. One of the 3 best record stores in the city. Very up-to-date and modern, even though it has been operating since 1977. You will find a lot of stuff of indie, garage, post punk, punk, pop records and cds, many t-shirts and other, related to music, stuff, you will listen to great musc while shopping and in general you will have a great time. The person who works there is polite and has a great knowledge of music. He also recognized the team's t-shirt i was wearing and we started talking about football/music.
You will visit it, you will go again and you will want to buy everything…
12. La Gramola
C. de Postigo de San Martin, 4 METRO: Callao (Ανοιχτό και Κυριακή)
Σε απόσταση αναπνοής (λιγότερο από 50 μέτρα) από το Escridiscos, βρίσκεται το La Gramola. Βρίσκεται σε πολύ τουριστικό σημείο της πολύς οπότε καταλαβαίνετε ότι θα βρείτε τα πάντα. Όχι σύγχρονα πράγματα βέβαια. Πολύ κλασσικό pop και rock, πολύ υλικό με εγχώριους καλλιτέχνες όλων των εποχών και όλα φυσικά δεύτερο (και τρίτο και τέταρτο) χέρι. Θα βρείτε και βιβλία και μπλούζες και κονκάρδες και άλλα τέτοια, αλλά όχι τίποτα το εξεζητημένο. Αξίζει ένα πέρασμα και μετά ζεστή σοκολάτα και churos στο cafe απέναντι!
A stone's throw (less than 50 meters) from Escridiscos, is La Gramola. It is located in a very touristic part of the city, so you can well understand that you will find a little bit of everything, but not modern/fresh stuff of course. A lot of classic pop and rock, a lot of stuff with local artists of all eras and of course everything second (...and third and fourth) hand. You will also find books and t-shirts and badges and such, but nothing fancy. It is worth a visit and then hot chocolate and churos at the cafe across the street!
13. La Metralleta Records
Parking Descalzas, C del Postigo de San Martin, 1 METRO: Callao

Στην ίδια γειτονία με τα προηγούμενα δύο, θα βρείτε το La Metralleta. Θα χρειαστείτε λίγη υπομονή και βρισίδι στο google maps σας, αλλά με λίγη προσοχή θα προσέξετε μια ταμπέλα και μία είσοδο που σας οδηγεί σε υπόγειο. Εκεί θα βρείτε ένα τεράστιο μαγαζί που έχει πολύ υλικό, κυρίως του παρελθόντος βέβαια. Disco, jazz, κλασσική μουσική, pop, κλασσικό rock, 80s rock και μπόλικα εγχώρια προϊόντα. Καλή περίπτωση, ίσως η καλύτερη σε αυτού του τύπου του «λίγο από όλα, παλιά» μαγαζιά.
In the same neighborhood as the previous two, you will find La Metralleta. You will need a little patience and swearing on your Google Maps, but with a little attention you will notice a sign and an entrance that leads you to a basement. There, you will find a huge store that has a lot of stuff, mainly from the past of course. Disco, jazz, classical music, pop, classic rock, 80s rock and lots of domestic products. A quite good store, maybe the best in this type of "a little bit of everything, old" stores.
14. Κiller Discos

Άλλο ένα μαγαζί που στηρίζεται στον τουρισμό αφού έχει λίγο απ’όλα και όλα δεύτερο χέρι. Θα έλεγα μάλιστα ότι στηρίζεται σε Λατίνους ή έστω εγχώριο τουρισμό γιατί το μεγαλύτερο κομμάτι είναι αφιερωμένο σε εγχώριους καλλιτέχνες του παρελθόντος. Φυσικά θα βρείτε και δίσκους/cds από κλασσικά ονόματα όπως Queen, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd κ.ο.κ. Δεν πολυαξίζει τον κόπο, με βάση τα κριτήριά μου πάντα.
Another shop that relies on tourism since it has a little bit of everything, almost all of it, second hand. I would even say that it relies on Latinos or even domestic tourism because the largest part is dedicated to domestic artists of the past. Of course you will also find records/cds from classic bands like Queen, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and so on. It is not worth the effort, based on my criteria anyway.
15. Discos Babel
Cost.ª de los Ángeles, 5 METRO: Opera
Δεύτερο χέρι μεν, αλλά θα βρείτε αρκετό υλικό σε classic rock, garage, jazz. Θα βρείτε, θέλετε δε θέλετε, και εγχώριους καλλιτέχνες. Δεν έχει καινούριο υλικό πάντως και νομίζω πως είναι λίγο τσιμπημένες οι τιμές του.
Most of the products are second hand, but you'll find plenty of material in classic rock, garage, jazz. You'll also find, whether you like it or not, local artists. It doesn't have any new stuff, though, and I think its prices are a bit steep.
16. Bangla Desh
Cost.ª de los Ángeles, 5 METRO: Opera
Δίπλα από το Babel (σχεδόν νόμισα ότι είναι το ίδιο μαγαζί) βρίσκεται το Bagla Desh που η φάση του είναι παρόμοια με το ανωτέρω. Εδώ όμως θα βρείτε περισσότερο υλικό και κυρίως θα πετύχετε μερικές σπάνιες εκδόσεις. Αξίζει τον κόπο αν κυνηγάτε τα σπάνια και περίεργα να χωθείτε εκεί μέσα και να σας βρει η νύχτα…
Right next door to Babel (I almost thought it was the same shop) is Bagla Desh, and its style is similar to the above. But here you will find more material and mainly you will find some rare editions. It is worth it, if you are hunting for the rare and strange, to go inside and let the night find you digging…
17. BAJOEVOLCANO

Μαζί με το Escidiscos (11) και το MARILIANS (5) φτιάχνουν την…Αγία Τριάδα των αγαπημένων μου δισκάδικων στη Μαδρίτη. Επικεντρώνεται σε indie, post punk, noise, garage, electronica και είναι γεμάτο καινούριο υλικό. Θα βρείτε επίσης και μεγάλη επιλογή βιβλίων (και στην Αγγλική γλώσσα). Ο άνθρωπος που δούλευε στο μαγαζί ήταν dj, πολύ ενημερωμένος αλλά και φιλικός. Μας υπέδειξε και μπαράκια για καλή μουσική στην πόλη, τα επισκεφτήκαμε και ήταν όπως ακριβώς τα θέλαμε. Εξαιρετική εμπειρία το όλο.
Together with Escidiscos (11) and MARILIANS (5), they form the… Holy Trinity of my favorite record stores in Madrid. It focuses on indie, post punk, noise, garage, electronica and is full of new stuff. You will also find a large selection of books (also in English). The man working in the store was a DJ, very knowledgeable but also friendly. He also suggested some bars for good music in the city, we visited them and they were exactly what we wanted. An excellent experience overall.
18. LA INTEGRAL

Είναι μέσα στα 5-6 καλύτερα δισκάδικα που πέτυχα στο «κυνήγι μου» και τα δύο νέα παιδία που το είχαν ήταν εξυπηρετικότατα και γνώστες. Θα βρείτε φρέσκα πράγματα σε indie, shoegaze, post punk, noise και άλλα αγαπημένα και σχετικά είδη. Θα βρείτε επίσης (στο βάθος) πάρα πολλά εγχώρια αλλά σύγχρονα κομμάτια. Έχει επίσης πολλές μπλούζες και διάφορα είδη σχετικά με τη μουσική (και όχι μόνο), όπως αφίσες, διακοσμητικά τοίχων, κούπες κλπ. Αξίζει οπωσδήποτε μια επίσκεψη σας.
In one of the most beautiful parts of the city (with many cafes, bars, etc.) is the colorful La Integral. It is among the 5-6 best record stores that I found in my "hunt" and the two people who owned it were very helpful and knowledgeable. You will find fresh stuff in indie, shoegaze, post punk, noise and other favorite and related genres. You will also find (in the back part of the store) a lot of domestic but modern pieces. It also has many t-shirts and various items related to music (and not only), such as posters, wall decorations, mugs, etc. It is definitely worth a visit.
19. Liquidator Music

Αυτό είναι ένα πολύ όμορφο και προσεγμένο στη λεπτομέρεια μαγαζί. Στο design του περιλαμβάνεται μέχρι και μια πανέμορφη vespa και ένα παλιό πιάνο. Επικεντρώνεται σε disco, funk, reggae, surf, soul, r&b και είναι πολύ ενημερωμένο. Θα βρείτε και βιβλία αλλά και dvds σχετικά πάντα με τα είδη που προανέφερα.
Άσχετα με το μαγαζί, πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να επισκεφθείτε τη γειτονιά (όπως και όλη την περιοχή La Latina), είναι γεμάτη όμορφα μπαράκια, καφέ και 2-3 καταπληκτικά ζαχαροπλαστεία!
This is a very beautiful and detailed shop. Its design even includes a beautiful vespa and an old piano. It focuses on disco, funk, reggae, surf, soul, r&b and is very up-to-date. You will also find books and DVDs related to the genres I mentioned above.
Regardless of the shop, you should definitely visit the neighborhood (the entire La Latina area), it is full of beautiful bars, cafes and 2-3 amazing pastry shops!
20. UMUSIC Shop

Αυτό είναι το μαγαζί «μουσικής» του αντίστοιχου ξενοδοχείου Μουσικής, «U Music Hotel”, της Universal Music. Θα βρείτε τα πολύ basics (Red Hot, Nirvana, Radiohead κλπ) καθώς και μπλούζες, ενώ μπορείτε να πιείτε και τον καφέ σας.
This is the "music" store of the corresponding Hotel, "U Music Hotel", of Universal. You will find the very basics (Red Hot, Nirvana, Radiohead etc.) as well as t-shirts, while you can also drink your coffee.
21. SATANASA
Cjon del Mellizo, 6 METRO: Puerta de Toledo
Σχετικά κοντά στο Liquidator βρίσκεται το καταπληκτικό Satanasa. Είναι το 4ο αγαπημένο μου δισκοπωλείο της πόλης, και αν είχα λίγο περισσότερο χρόνο ίσως ανέβαινε κι άλλο στην κατάταξη. Το πρόβλημα του είναι ότι ανοίγει ΑΥΣΤΗΡΑ μόνο Κυριακές και αυτό για λίγες ώρες (11.00-15.00) Στην περιοχή γίνεται κάθε Κυριακή ένα τεράστιο παζάρι και έτσι αυτές τις 4 ώρες γίνεται προσκύνημα στο μαγαζί το οποίο είναι μια τρύπα. Έχει όμως πάρα πολύ υλικό, κυρίως post punk, punk και garage, dark wave όλων των δεκαετιών (και σύγχρονο). Αν βρεθείτε μια Κυριακή, ακόμα και αν δεν ακούτε αυτές τις μουσικές, επισκεφθείτε το για να ζήσετε το vibe του μαγαζιού αλλά και όλων των γύρω δρόμων.
Quite close to Liquidator is the amazing Satanasa. It is my 4th favorite record store in the city, and if I had a little more time, it might have moved up the rankings.. The problem is that it opens STRICTLY only on Sundays and only for a few hours (11:00-15:00). Every Sunday there is a huge bazaar in the area and so during these 4 hours there is a pilgrimage to the store, which is like a small hole. However, it has a lot of stuff, mainly post punk, punk and garage, dark wave from all decades (and modern). If you are there on a Sunday, even if you don't listen to this music, visit it to experience the vibe of the store and all the surrounding streets.
22. Satellite Discos
C/ de la Ribera de Curtidores, 8 METRO: Puerta de Toledo
Βρίσκεται στη γειτονιά του Satanasa και αν και δεν το πετύχαμε ανοιχτό σας το αναφέρουμε σε περίπτωση που βρεθείτε στην περιοχή, να το ψάξετε. Από πληροφορίες που συλλέξαμε επικεντρώνεται σε soul, world, ethnic, blues, jazz όλα δεύτερο χέρι.
It is located in the same area as Satanasa and although we did not find it open, we mention it to you in case you find yourself in the area, to look for it. From the information we collected, it focuses on soul, world, ethnic, blues, jazz, all second hand.
23. Sin Morralla
Plaza del Gral. Vara de Rey, 5 METRO: Puerta de Toledo
Ισχύει ότι και για το ανωτέρω (Satellite Discos). Δεν το βρήκαμε ανοιχτό αλλά φαίνεται πως έχει αρκετό…vintage υλικό. Ρίξτε του μια ματιά αν βρεθείτε κοντά και στείλτε μας και καμία πληροφορία/φωτογραφία για να τα προσθέσουμε στο άρθρο.
Same goes for the above (Satellite Discos). We didn't find it open but it seems to have a lot of...vintage material. Take a look if you're nearby and send us any information/photos so we can add them to the article.
24. Discos Ziggy

Αρκετά μεγάλο μαγαζί με μπόλικο υλικό. Rock όλων των εποχών και φάσεων, όχι τόσο σύγχρονα πράγματα αλλά όχι ξεχασμένο και από το Θεό. Λίγο τσιμπημένο και ελαφρώς απρόσωπο, αλλά θα βρείτε σίγουρα κάτι να σας ενδιαφέρει.
Quite a large store with a lot of material. Rock from all eras and phases, not so modern stuff but you can faind some newer stuff too. A little cramped and slightly impersonal, but you will definitely find something that interests you.
25. DELIA RECORDS
C. De las Delicias, 25 METRO: Atocha

Απομακρυνόμαστε από την περιοχή και κατεβαίνουμε προς τον τεράστιο κεντρικό σταθμό των τραίνων της πόλης, τον Atocha. Πίσω από το σταθμό και με λίγο περπατηματάκι θα βρείτε 2 δισκάδικα. Αυτό που αξίζει αρκετά είναι το Delia Records. Είναι σύγχρονο και ενημερωμένο. Θα βρείτε διάφορες μουσικές στα ράφια του, από post rock, classic rock, metal μέχρι pop. Θα βρείτε και μπλούζες και διάφορα άλλα σχετικά με τη μουσική, είδη. Συμπαθέστατος και ο ιδιοκτήτης, πιάστε του κουβέντα, θα χαρεί πολύ να σας εξυπηρετήσει. Δεν το βρίσκεις παντού αυτό.
We move away from the area heading down to the city's huge central train station, Atocha. Behind the station and after a short walk you will find 2 record stores. The one worth the search is Delia Records. It is modern and up-to-date. You will find various music on its shelves, from post rock, classic rock, metal to pop. You will also find t-shirts and various other music-related items. The owner is also very friendly, talk to him, he will be very happy to serve you. You can't find this everywhere.
26. Alfonrock78

Εδώ όλα είναι δευτερότριτο χέρι αλλά ή αλήθεια είναι πως διαθέτει πολύ υλικό. Ένα αρκετά μεγάλο, μακρόστενο μαγαζί γεμάτο βινύλια όλων των μουσικών ειδών. Από hard rock και metal μέχρι disco και soul. Δεν θα βρείτε καινούρια πράγματα οπότε αν αυτό σας ενδιαφέρει, απλώς μην πάτε, μίας και είναι αρκετά μακριά από το κέντρο.
Everything here is second hand but truly is that it has a lot of stuff. A fairly large, long, narrow store full of vinyl of all musical genres. From hard rock and metal to disco and soul. You won't find new stuff so if that's what you're interested in, just don't go, since it's quite far from the center.

Δεν ξέρω αν είναι πιά ανοιχτό, εμείς το βρήκαμε με τραπεζάκια από το δίπλα μαγαζί απλωμένα μπροστά στην είσοδό του.
I am not sure that it is still open, we found some tables of the restaurant right beside it, infront of its door.
