Είμαστε οι...Grandmaster Cockroach… και το είδος της μουσικής που παίζουμε είναι.. alternative rock.
Ξεκινήσαμε να γράφουμε μουσική…γιατί αυτή η διαδικασία μας κάνει καλύτερους ανθρώπους και είναι ό,τι καλύτερο μας έχει συμβεί.
Θα σας αρέσουμε αν σας αρέσουν… οι μπάντες που κυριαρχούσαν στο rock τα 90’ς με 00’s. Είμαστε παιδιά των 90’s τι να κάνουμε.
Ένα κομμάτι μας που πρέπει να ακούσετε είναι το… In My Mind ,το τελευταίο track του δίσκου μας , αλλά μόνο αν έχετε ακούσει όλα τα υπόλοιπα πριν. Αλλιώς δεν θα καταλάβετε τίποτα.
Την πρώτη φορά που ανεβήκαμε στη σκηνή για live…παίξαμε για όλους τους φίλους όπου ήταν κοντά μας στο παρθενικό μας show. ήμασταν πολύ χαρούμενοι! Το ίδιο βράδυ γνωρίσαμε ανθρώπους που μας βοήθησαν να προχωρήσουμε παραπέρα. Το καλύτερο ξεκίνημα!
Το ελληνικό μουσικό ραδιόφωνο (των FM) είναι…αδιάφορο και μη τολμηρό για νέες κυκλοφορίες ,εκτός αν παίζεις στην panic ή στην heaven.
Θα θέλαμε κάποτε να κάνουμε ένα live… στο Wembley και Red Rocks Amphitheater ... (πάντα ταπεινοί).
Θα γουστάραμε να ήταν δική μας σύνθεση… τo God Bless Our Dead Marines – The Silver Mt Zion. Για αυτό και το έχουμε διασκευάσει και το παίζουμε στα live μας.
Ένα live που παραβρεθήκαμε -σαν θεατές- και μας «πήρε τα μυαλά», ήταν… Prodigy live στο PAOK SPORTS ARENA 2010.
Η συμβουλή μας σε όποιον σκέφτεται να φτιάξει μπάντα είναι… να το κάνει με ανθρώπους που αγαπάει.
Χωρίς το internet η μουσική θα ήταν… το ίδιο. Ίσως οι ρυθμοί διάδοσης νέου υλικού πιο αργοί και μια πιο υγιής δισκογραφία.
Αν μπορούσαμε να μεταφερθούμε σε ένα μουσικό περιβάλλον του παρελθόντος (χώρα, περίοδο), αυτό θα ήταν… στην Αμερική στα 70’s επειδή θα βλέπαμε όλα αυτά τα τέρατα της μουσικής.
Η πλέον παράξενη ατάκα που έχουμε ακούσει σε live μας είναι... η: “βάζετε ένα λιθαράκι για να εξαφανιστεί η ηλ.κιθάρα’’
Θα ήταν τέλειο αν κάποτε συνεργαζόμασταν με… τον Rick Rubin, (ακόμα ταπεινοί βλέπετε...).
Η πλέον υποτιμημένη μπάντα στον πλανήτη είναι οι…31 knots.
Ένα από τα καλύτερα albums που έχουν ποτέ γραφτεί είναι… το The Doors των Τhe Doors.
Εκτός της μουσικής, γεμίζουμε το χρόνο μας με… μαλακί... χμ...ε.... όμορφα πράγματα με τα οποία κερδίζεις λεφτά για να ζήσεις.
Ένα βιβλίο που μας συνεπήρε είναι το... ‘O Xριστός ξανασταυρώνεται’ (Νίκος Καζαντάκης).
Μία πόλη που θα θέλαμε να ζήσουμε είναι...η Boυδαπέστη επειδή μας έκανε εντύπωση.
Σε 10 χρόνια από τώρα θα θέλαμε σαν μπάντα να… προετοιμαζόμαστε για άλλα 10.
Η ερώτηση που ποτέ δε μας κάνουν, οπότε την ρωτάμε και απαντάμε μόνοι μας είναι...: με ποιους συνεργαστήκατε και έχετε τόσο τέλειο ήχο και artwork; Και πότε θα σας θαυμάσουμε live;
Στην παραγωγή του δίσκου ( μίξη, ηχογράφηση ) ήταν ο Αλέξης Χατζηιωάννου και στο mastering o Νίκος – The Mute – Χαλντούπης.
To πανέμορφο artwork είναι του μοναδικού Αzbeen.
Tα λέμε στην Αθήνα στο Death Disco 10 Μαΐου με τους Soothsayer και στην Πάτρα με Amber Dogs και Mather στην ΓΙΑΦΚΑ στα live για την παρουσίαση του debut album μας ‘Music For Lousy Speakers’.

We are… Grandmaster Cockroach and our music genre is...alternative rock.
We got involved with music because … it is something that makes us better persons and it is the best thing that ever happened to us.
You will like us if you like listening to… bands that dominated the 90’s and 00’s. We are 90’s children, what can we say about it…
One of our songs that you should definitely listen to is… In My Mind, the last track of our album, but only if you have listened to all the song before that, or else you will not understand a thing.
When we got on stage for our first gig… we played for all our friends, that where close to us on our first show. We were very happy! On that same night we met people that helped us move on forward! The best start possible!
(FM) radio nowadays is... indifferent and not at all bold in introducing new stuff, except if you play in “panic” or “heaven”.
We would really like to give a concert… at Wembley and Red Rocks Amphitheater ... (always modest).

Our advice to anyone who wants to form a band is… do it, but with people you love.
Without internet, music would… be the same. Maybe the pace of spreading would be different but discography would probably be more healthy.
If we could go back to the past, and live in a music environment (country, era), that would be… in the U.S. in the 70’s, because we would be able to see all the monsters of music.
The weirdest thing we have heard in one of our gigs is…“you really give help to the extinction of the electric guitar”.
It would be great if we ever had the chance to work with… Rick Rubin, (still modest).
The most underrated band in the world is…31 Κnots.
One of the best albums ever written is…The Doors by The Doors.
Apart from music, we also like to spend our time…with bullsh… ee yes! Ok! With beautiful things in order to make money and survive.
One book that we were really overwhelmed by was… Christ Recrucified by Νikos Kazantzakis.
One city that we would love to live in would be a... Budapest because it really impressed us.
In 10 years from today, we -as a band- would like to…get prepared for the next ten to come.
One question that nobody ever asks us, so we are going to ask and answer it ourselves is: … who are the people you worked with in order to have this perfect sound and artwork? When will we see you on stage?
