Οι Melvins είναι ένα από τα πιο επιδραστικά συγκροτήματα της σύγχρονης μουσικής. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 1983 με επικεφαλής τον τραγουδιστή/κιθαρίστα Buzz Osborne και έδρα τους το Montesano της Ουάσινγκτον. Συνδυάζουν με μεγάλη μαεστρία, το punk rock και τη heavy μουσική, σχηματίζοντας ένα νέο υποείδος από μόνο του. Ανήκουν στη σχολή των μουσικών που δεν περιορίζουν τον ήχο τους και τολμούν, με άνεση και επιτυχία, να κινηθούν σε διάφορα είδη, όπως grunge, stoner, sludge, doom metal, hardcore punk και alternative rock. Κατά τη διάρκεια της σχεδόν 40χρονης ιστορίας του συγκροτήματος, με τους Buzz Osborne και Dale Crover να είναι μέχρι και σήμερα οι βασικοί πυλώνες του, οι Melvins έχουν κυκλοφορήσει πάνω από 25 άλμπουμ, πολυάριθμα Ep’s, live albums, singles και σπάνια κομμάτια. Άνοιξαν το δρόμο και αποτέλεσαν πηγή έμπνευσης για τα περισσότερα συγκροτήματα της grunge σκηνής του Seattle, όπως Nirvana, Soundgarden και Mudhoney. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι οι Melvins ήταν ένα από τα αγαπημένα συγκροτήματα του frontman των Nirvana, Kurt Cobain, ενώ ο Adam Jones των Tool - παλιός οπαδός των Melvins - σε συνέντευξή του το 1994 τους ανέφερε ως τους εφευρέτες του grunge.
Πρόσφατα, κυκλοφόρησαν την ακουστική συλλογή 36 κομματιών, «Five Legged Dog», με επανεκτελέσεις μερικών από τα πιο heavy τραγούδια τους, καθώς και διασκευές από αγαπημένους καλλιτέχνες. Στη διάρκεια της δισκογραφίας τους, οι Melvins έχουν συνεργαστεί με τους Jello Biafra, Mudhoney και Fantômas και έχουν περιοδεύσει πολλές φορές σε όλο τον κόσμο.

Οι Vodka Juniors αποτελούν μία από τις σημαντικότερες δυνάμεις της ελληνικής underground σκηνής. Ξεκινώντας από τις θρυλικές πλέον εμφανίσεις τους σε υπόγειες σκηνές και καταλήγοντας στα συνεχή sold out στα πιο μεγάλα venues και φεστιβάλ. Μαζί τους κουβαλάνε μεταξύ άλλων, διπλά και τριπλά albums ("Dark Poetry", "Clubriot"), τρία ιστορικά Pirate tours και μία γιγαντιαία 3μηνη περιοδεία 100 ημερών ανάμεσα σε αμέτρητες άλλες σε Ελλάδα και Ευρώπη. Γνωστοί πλέον για τα χαοτικά και έντονα, συναισθηματικά φορτισμένα live, διατηρώντας την ίδια οικογενειακή ατμόσφαιρα είτε πρόκειται για συναυλίες εκατοντάδων είτε πολλών χιλιάδων. Live που σε πιάνουν από το λαιμό και σε αφήνουν καταιδρωμένο και εξαντλημένο αλλά με ένα αίσθημα ευφορίας και ψυχικής κάθαρσης. Ένα μείγμα από punk, hiphop. dub, thrash και πολλά electronic elements που ξεκίνησε να στήνεται με punk album όπως το "Drunk and loud" και το "Suburbancore" και κατέληξε εκεί στο πιο πρόσφατο "Warrior Anthems". Με ελάχιστες συνεντεύξεις και χωρίς διαφημιστικά κόλπα, πιστοί στη σκληρή δουλειά και την αληθινή άμεση επικοινωνία με τον κόσμο συνεχίζουν να κατεδαφίζουν σκηνές όπου βρεθούν. Κλείνουν τον κύκλο του τελευταίου τους album στην Αθήνα δίνοντας το σύνθημα για το ξεκίνημα της νέας εποχής... as the song goes: "Addicted to the road, one thing I have come to know, I count my age with miles not years and I got thousands more to go..."

Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs are Matthew Baty, Sam Grant, John-Michael Hedley, Ewan Mackenzie and Adam Ian Sykes. The band have recently completed work on their soon to be announced fourth studio album, recorded and mixed at Blank Studios, Newcastle upon Tyne and mastered at Abbey Road Studios. The band’s most recent album, 2020’s ‘Viscerals’ was lauded across the board with reviews and coverage from the Guardian, Mojo, Uncut, The Line of Best Fit, Louder Than War and more, and featured the BBC Radio 6 Music A-Listed singles ‘Reducer’ and ‘Rubbernecker’.

The Melvins are one of modern music’s most influential bands. Having formed in 1983 Montesano, Washington, the group founded by singer/guitar player Buzz Osborne (with stalwart drummer Dale Crover joining the following year), has been credited with merging the worlds of punk rock and heavy music, forming a new subgenre all its own. Over the band’s nearly 40-year history, they’ve released over 30 original albums, numerous live full-lengths and far too many to count singles and rarities. Most recently they released the 36-track acoustic collection Five Legged Dog, featuring reinterpretations of some of their heaviest songs as well as covers from their favorite artists. In the course of their discography, they've partnered with Jello Biafra, Mudhoney, and Fantômas for individual releases and toured the world many times over. In fact, the band had the misfortune to be in both Christchurch and Tokyo for their 2011 earthquakes. In 2012, the Melvins completed the “51 States in 51 Days” (50 states +DC) tour, which was chronicled in the film “Across The USA in 51 Days.” The current incarnation of the band is Osborne, Crover, and Steven McDonald (Redd Kross/OFF!). Previous line-ups include a pairing of Osborne and Crover with Big Business band members Jared Warren and Coady Willis, a four-piece featuring the current trio plus Butthole Surfers’ Jeff Pinkus, as well as Melvins Lite, which partners Osborne and Crover with Mr. Bungle’s Trevor Dunn. Sometimes, if you’re extra lucky, one version of the Melvins will open for the Melvins.
